WOW! Where did the month of July go? I swear that the 4th of July was just a week ago! I hope that you all had a wonderful month. Things here were pretty smooth. No big ups but no big downs either. One exciting change that was made was our website. If you haven't seen it yet you have to check it out, http://www.gilroyhonda.com/. It looks a hundred times better than the old site!
For thoes of you that drive up and down 101 to/from San Jose then I am sure you have noticed just how quickly the new Honda of Morgan Hill dealership is coming along. The current update on the move date is mid September, so even with a few set backs we should be there very very soon! I know people keep hearing that but it is really true! If you don't get up that way you can always check out this construction photos on our Facebook page, Honda of Morgan Hill! As we get closer I will post more about our Grand Opening. That should be a blast!

Is It Really Almost July!

Hi all! Things around here have been busy! We have been putting a lot of planning into the Morgan Hill Freedom Fest so that has consumed most of June! Can not believe that it is next weekend. If any of you are out and about for the Street Dance on July 3rd make sure you stop by our booth and say HI, you won't be able to miss us....We are also participating in the parade on the 4th. It is always a lot of fun and we look forward to seeing everyone
Construction on the new dealership is moving along quite well. They have began installing the glass and painting has started. The target date of the move has not been said yet but we hope to be in there and operating by the end of August.
With the slow down in car production our lot is looking pretty empty but we are plugging along... Production hopes to increase by August so that will be good for us when we move. It would look funny having a nice new large lot but only a few cars on it! Yikes!
All in all things around here are going smooth...

Summer Fun is Almost Here

With Memorial Day just a few days away that means summer is right around the corner! One of the yearly things we sponsor is the 4th of July parade in Morgan Hill. The event is great and we always have a lot of fun. We are making lots of plans for the events and hope to top last years turn out.
Construction on Honda of Morgan Hill is progressing nicely so it really shouldn't be that much longer until we are in! It will be so nice to walk into a brand new dealership! I love the smell of new carpet and the look of a nice clean building....If I close my eyes I can almost pretend that I am there! Try it some time.....

Bye Bye April, Hello May!

Hi All! Well April is gone and we are into the first week of May. Things have been a little quiet around here but that was kind of nice, it gave us time to catch up on stuff that we have put off doing. Our office staff has grown and now it is a little tight but that will all be better when we finally move to Morgan Hill. There really is not much else going on right now but it will start to get busy heading into the summer months!

April 2011

Wow, I can't believe how fast the time goes by! April has not been as busy as March but we still are doing pretty good. The all new 2012 Honda Civics arrived and they are really nice! There are some nice interior features that were not on the previous years and the 2012 gets better gas mileage. You should really come at check one out!
As far as the move to Morgan Hill goes we are still plugging along. I am still hearing July but as we learned last year anything can happen! We are starting to get some staffing in place so it must be getting close. I guess that is all I have for now but I will try to update this a little more regularly.

March Did Not Go Out Like A Lamb

Hi all! I know that I haven't written anything in a few weeks but the last couple of weeks of March were super busy! Needless to say we had a terrific month and hope to continue the great trend! One nice thing that happened is that we received our 2010 Council of Excellence Award from Honda. We also won that award in 2008! Our Service Department also won an award for customer service excellence. If you have not yet visited our Service Department I highly recommend that you do. You will not be disappointed!
We are getting our staff in place so that when we move to Morgan Hill we can hit the ground running! We want a smooth transition and look forward to continuing our excellent customer service. Thanks for reading and I will post more later....

Busy Week

Wow, it has been a really crazy week and there is still one more day to go! I am glad to report that our sales department may have a record breaking month if things keep going the way they have been! That's great and it makes for a lot of happy customers. The parts and service department have seen their share of customers also so all in all it looks like everything is well. We have been getting a lot of questions as to when we will be open in Morgan Hill, we hope to be in by July but with construction you just never know! We are getting things in order so when it is time we hope for a pretty smooth transition. A lot of changes to come but it will be worth it in the end. Stay tuned......

Presentation Day

Well today was a pretty busy day at Gilroy Honda. I presented our new blog and I think that it went over well. I am still trying to get a few people on the social media bandwagon but i am sure that they will come around, at least I hope so! You can also access our blog via our website, www.gilroyhonda.com. As the world of social media grows like an out of control wildfire, we here at Gilroy Honda are preparing to venture into that crazy world! Setting up a blog sounded like a nice and easy step but it has already been an adventure. I am sure that as time goes on it will become easier and I won't be spending hours of my own time getting everything in place!
